MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Online threats regarding a Muskogee school resulted in a 15-year-old student taken into custody.
Just before 10 p.m. Tuesday, the Muskogee Police Department was notified of a Facebook post allegedly made by an Alice Robertson School student and threatening to bring a gun to school to harm other students.
Police took the teen into custody a short time later. The boy was taken for a mental evaluation and transferred under an emergency detention order to a Tulsa hospital.
Corporal Michael Mahan with the MPD said the investigation is being completed and will eventually be submitted to the district attorney's office for prosecution.
