TULSA - Middle school students spent the day at OSU-Tulsa building drones.
The event is part of the Tulsa Alliances for Engineers's annual summer camp.
Four teams each constructed a drone using electronic components and additional materials.
"The challenge is first getting it off the ground the main objective besides that is who can go the farthest and the fastest," said
The camp offers eighth and ninth grade students from the Tulsa area an opportunity to learn about engineering principles, career opportunities and local degree programs.
