PITTSBURG COUNTY, Okla. - A McAlester man is facing charges of raping a mentally disabled girl.
Police tell 2NEWS the 14-year-old victim admitted to a counselor she had sex with Robert Hoover multiple times at his home over a two-month period.
Police say Hoover had just bonded out of jail, arrested in June after his wife reported he molested two young family members. He was re-arrested Jan. 24 for the case involving the teen and is now jailed in Pittsburg County on $450,000 bond for both cases.
Court records show Hoover is facing four charges of first-degree rape of a developmentally disabled person, lewd molestation and sodomy of a victim younger than 16 years of age. He's also facing two addition charges of lewd molestation in the case involving his relatives.
Hoover is due in court Feb. 21 for a preliminary hearing.
