MANNFORD, Okla. - Joe Anaya lost his home, business and treasured motorcycle during the Mannford fires. But he was one of the lucky ones who had insurance.
On Saturday he pulled his Harley Davidson Motorcyle from the ruble, put it on a trailer and lead a pack of riders for the Rumble for Relief benefit ride. His goal to raise funds for the families who did not have home insurance to rebuild.
"All the people that didn't have insurance, where do they go?," he said. "We want them here in our community. We want them to know we're here to help. And that's coming from someone who lost everything."
The money will be turned to the Mannford Fire Relief Fund.
Donations can be made to any American Heritage Bank in the area.
