Man reported missing from Victoria British Columbia last seen in Tulsa

TULSA – The search for a missing man out of Victoria British Columbia has trailed all the way down to Tulsa.

Tulsa authorities report that a woman traveling from Albuquerque to Tulsa picked up a hitchhiker on Interstate 40 heading east. The man told the driver that his name was Jericho and he was from Canada.

According to the driver, Jericho was last seen at Apache and Yale where he said he was looking for fireflies and heading to the creek.

A note with his handwriting was also left with the driver who was able to take it to authorities and they contacted his family and confirmed that Jericho the hitchhiker was the man reported missing: Jericho Labonte.

Tulsa authorities are now asking for the public’s help in finding Jericho. He is said to have no personal belongings or identification. He was last seen wearing a dark grey shirt, beige flannel long sleeve shirt and brown pants. Also with him were a pair of black pants and a black jacket. The missing report from BC says that Jericho went missing on May 11, 2016.

Jericho is said to be 6-feet-1, 146 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Jericho is also suffering from an undiagnosed mental illness. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact local authorities.
