TULSA - Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for the city's 26th homicide of the year, a stabbing in west Tulsa.
Authorities arrested Terry Hansen, 38, around 10 a.m. Sunday for first-degree murder.
Police caught up with Hansen after tracking him down at an old address in north Tulsa.
Eight hours earlier, police responded to a call at a vacant house near 55th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard. After they arrived, officers found the body of a 29-year-old man inside a vehicle.
Officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area and were able to question witnesses who were present during the stabbing.
Investigators say they were able to identify Hansen as the prime suspect.
Police say they are still investigating the motive but a dispute between the two men led to the stabbing.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
