TULSA - Tulsa homicide detectives are investigating an overnight shooting at a west Tulsa apartment complex.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired Western Pines Apartments near 23rd Street and Highway 75 around 2 a.m. Sunday.
EMSA crews were already on the scene and working on 28-year-old Brad Lyles, who had been shot in the torso.
Lyles was transported to a local hospital and died shortly after arrival.
Investigators say they found several shell casing in the grass near the apartment. There are no suspects at this time.
This is the 38th homicide in Tulsa for 2013.
