TULSA - Tulsa police say a man in his 20s or 30s fled the OSU Medical Center after an attempted armed robbery around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Officers say a man about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans approached the third-floor Sleep Services section of the center armed with a revolver. The man demanded narcotics from an employee.
Police say the suspect and victim began to struggle, and the man hit the victim in the arm with the revolver before running away empty handed.
Around 37 officers performed an exhaustive, three and a half hour search of the facility but never found the suspect.
The victim sustained minor lacerations to the arm.
