Man arrested for manufacturing after meth fire

TULSA - A man was arrested Tuesday after police say he started a meth fire.

Firefighters were called to a house fire near 56th Street and North Cincinnati around 4:30 p.m.

Fire officials say two crews were able to quickly knock down the flames.

An investigator was called to the scene after meth-making ingredients were found in the kitchen.

Just before 6 p.m., Tulsa police arrested 44-year-old Johnny Farris.  He's being held on $50,000 bond.

Farris faces charges of arson and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance.

He's due in court Wednesday.
