Limited number of tickets to Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert to become available Friday

NORMAN, Okla. - Miss out on tickets to Toby Keith's tornado relief show? You're in luck.

A limited number of tickets for the July 6 Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert are being released Friday at noon.

The concert begins at 3 p.m. at the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman. Doors open at 1:30 the day of the show.
Keith, a native of Moore, which was hit by an EF-5 tornado May 20, had family members and friends affected by the twister and was moved to organize the concert.
"I know these folks and they're resilient, but we're going to keep helping them any way we can," said Keith.  "I'm proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities."

Among the performers set to take the stage are Oklahoma natives Keith and Garth Brooks as well as Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood, Ronnie Dunn, Sammy Hagar and more. Checotah country superstar Carrie Underwood will also perform via satellite from the Grand Ole' Opry.

Verizon Wireless has set up a text-to-donate number before, during and after the show. Text REBUILD to 52000 to give a $10 donation to United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

Proceeds benefit the United Way of Central Oklahoma Relief Fund.
