TULSA - Police say they arrested a 22-year-old Tulsa man after he broke into two houses Friday morning.
Officers say Kendall Murphy ran from a home near 41st and Harvard as they were investigating a burglary in progress call around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Police say Murphy was unable to kick in the back door of another home as he fled, but finally kicked in the back door of a third home and gained entry.
Officers say Murphy ran out the front door of that home and was stopped by a K-9 officer.
A victim identified jewelry that was found in Murphy's pocket, according to the arrest report.
Police say Murphy had dog bites on his left calf and was taken to an area hospital and treated before being booked at the Tulsa County jail for two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of attempted second-degree burglary.
He is being held on $15,000 bond.
