Jury selection continues in molestation case against former TPS assistant Principal Robert Yerton

TULSA - Attorneys in a high-profile child molestation case involving a former Tulsa Public Schools administrator continues Tuesday.

Robert Yerton Jr., a former assistant principal at Skelly Elementary, is accused of inappropriately touching several young boys and a family member.

Yerton faces five felony charges, including three counts of lewd molestation and two counts of sexual abuse of a child.

The alleged victims were 6, 7 and 8 years old. Another was a family member allegedly sexually abused from the age of 11 to 17 years old.

Nearly half of the 24 possible jurors have been dismissed after telling they judge they were already familiar with the case.

Along with jury selection, the judge is expected to decide whether pornography found on Yerton's home and business computers can be used as evidence at trial.
