Tulsa man, Daniel Jones, arrested in connection with Jenks ATM theft; 4 suspects still at large

TULSA - A Tulsa man has been arrested in connection with an ATM theft in Jenks.

Daniel Laron Jones, 26, was booked into Tulsa County Jail Thursday around 6 p.m. on a second-degree burglary charge and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He bonded out shortly after midnight Thursday.

Jones was formally charged and a warrant was issued for his arrest following the recent theft of an ATM at the Tulsa Federal Credit Union at 3017 W. Main St. in Jenks on June 6.

Police named Jones as a person of interest Monday but are still searching for four other suspects involved.

They are described as:

Suspect 2: Black male, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black gloves

Suspect 3: Black male, Carhart navy or black jacket, jean shorts, white shoes

Suspect 4: White male, black jeans/pants, black hooded sweatshirt, black shoes

Suspect 5: Black male, gray gym shorts, black shoes, black sweatshirt

Jenks Police also say four vehicles were involved in the heist.  They are described as:

Vehicle 1: Cement mixer (mud flap McNeilus)

Vehicle 2: Jeep Grand Cherokee, maroon/gray bottom

Vehicle 3: Chevy Trailblazer, maroon, no tag

Vehicle 4: Utility trailer, black with wooden bed
