JENKS, Okla. - Jenks Public Schools is asking the community for their input in finding a new superintendent.
Dr. Kirby Lehman is currently superintendent of Jenks Public Schools. In May, Lehman announced he will retire at the end of this school year, leaving the position open.
The school board has hired McPherson and Jacobson, LLC, a nationally recognized superintendent recruitment and development firm, to assist in the search.
This week, the district will hold a pair of public meetings asking for community input.
The first meeting is Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 at the Jenks Education Service Center.
A second meeting is Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on the third floor of the Jenks Math and Science Center.
