Inmate escapes Oklahoma minimum security prison

FORT SUPPLY, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say an inmate has escaped the minimum security William S. Key Correctional Center in northwestern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections reports that 41-year-old Shannon Bryant of Mannford was reported missing from the prison in Fort Supply on Saturday.

Details of the escape were not released.

Bryant had begun serving a four-year sentence in March after being convicted on drug charges and for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
