Highway reopened in Delaware County after shut down due to tornado damage

DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. - There are reports of extensive tornado damage throughout Delaware County in northeast Oklahoma.

Officials say there was damage in Grove, Zena and Bernice Sunday night.

Authorities have reopened US 59 at State Highway 127 north of Jay in Delaware County.

We are also receiving reports of severe tornado damage in Grand Lake near Woodland Shores.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a tornado touched down and power lines are down in the area as well as a natural gas leak.
