TALIHINA, Okla. - The FAA and NTSB will send crews Wednesday to the site of a medical helicopter crash in Talihina where one person was killed.
The chopper crashed in the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center parking lot Tuesday. Emergency responders arrived around 6:30 p.m.
Four people were onboard when the chopper crashed in the Choctaw Nation Hospital parking lot Tuesday afternoon. Two have serious injuries, including the flight nurse.
Officials say the chopper lost power during takeoff, then caught fire after crashing into the ground.
Right now, the Choctaw Tribal Police are heading the investigation.
