GUTS grocery giveaway to benefit 10,000 people; bicycles, medical services and more available

TULSA - It's a big day for giving in Tulsa.

GUTS Church and community leaders come together Friday for a grocery giveaway.

In addition to 10,000 bags of groceries, 1,000 children's bicycles, free medical and dental services, haircuts, diapers, legal assistance and more are being given away at ONEOK.

The giveaway began in 2010 and has grown each year.

Appearances this year include Christian author and speaker Joyce Meyer, Gov. Mary Fallin, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett Jr. and other  community leaders.

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.

The giveaway began at 10 a.m.  There are no restrictions, anyone can attend.  Just one requirement -- if you're looking to score one of the children's bicycles, bring your child with you.
