Glitch in prepaid card service; upset customers

Green Dot, a prepaid card service, is working to fix a glitch that's causing problems to customers' accounts.

These include incorrect balances and same purchases showing up multiple times.

“I pulled up my account online and it said there was a negative $141 balance," says William Brown.

He's one of several Tulsa residents complaining about the service.

Brown has been a loyal Green Dot customer for the past 10 years, but this problem has taken too long to fix he says.

“They keep saying check back tomorrow or in a few hours and that negative fund would be back in the account," says Brown.

However, it's been 10 days, and his card is still not accessible.

A spokesperson for Green Dot says the company has been experiencing some technical issues, and they're sorry for the inconvenience.

It's working diligently to get accounts back to normal.

In the meantime, if you're experiencing a problem with this company, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
