Governor Mary Fallin, Mayor Dewey Bartlett touring Tulsa storm damage

TULSA - TULSA - Okla. Gov. Mary Fallin is in Tulsa to tour the city's storm damage.

Fallin, joined by Mayor Dewey Bartlett and Public Service Company of Oklahoma officials, said her office, along with the office of Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak, is working adamantly to survey the damage.

The governor said FEMA aid could be declared next week following further damage assessment. Fallin also praised the urgency of PSO in returning power to the roughly 85 percent of the 100,000 customers in the dark Wednesday morning. 

Just over 13,000 are without power in Tulsa County as of 6:30 p.m. Friday.

PSO expects to have power to everyone by 5 p.m. Saturday.
