TULSA - Tulsa residents are being given a free chance to do a little spring cleaning.
The city of Tulsa is holding Free Landfill Days this weekend.
The drop off is at the Quarry Landfill on 46th Street North, just east of Highway 169.
Gates will open from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
To take advantage of the landfill, residents must show a Tulsa utility bill or a driver's license with an address within Tulsa's city limits.
No items containing Freon, such as air conditioners or refrigerators, will be accepted.
There will be a $1 fee for motorcycle and bicycle tires, $3.50 for tires up to 19.5 inches inside diameter (rim diameter), and $2.50 for agricultural tires not more than 14 inches wide and 44 inches in diameter.
Loads in trucks and trailers should be secured and covered to prevent contents from blowing out onto roadways and creating traffic hazards.
City officials remind participants that there are two landfills on East 46th Street North. Look for the Quarry Waste Management Inc. signs.
