TULSA - One of four Tulsa officers caught up in the police corruption scandal is free.
John "J.J." Gray was released from the U.S. Penitentiary in Pollock, La. around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Gray pleaded guilty in 2010 to stealing more than $1,000 in government money during a sting.
He was sentenced in December to four months in prison.
Gray and former ATF agent Brandon McFadden both received lighter sentences because they cooperated with prosecutors.
Gray had served 20 years on the force before the scandal broke.
