Fmr. Tulsa Co. deputy enters ‘not guilty' plea in molestation accusation involving 11-year-old

TULSA – The former Tulsa Co. deputy accused of molestation entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday.

Josh Woods was arrested in July for allegedly touching an 11-year-old girl inappropriately, reports Wagoner County authorities.

Woods was hired by the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office in 2013 as a detention officer and later resigned as a deputy in January of 2016, as per a spokesperson with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

Wood’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 25.
