Flu vaccines for children in Tulsa: Oklahoma Caring Vans offering free vaccines for qualifying kids

TULSA - The Oklahoma Caring Van is offering free flu vaccines to qualifying children during the month of January.

Services are provided at no charge to children 6 months to 18 years of age who are uninsured, Medicaid eligible or Native American.

The immunizations are given on a first come, first serve basis, and a parent or guardian must be with the child and also provide the child's immunization records.

Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Peoria WIC at 5812 S. Peoria

Thursday, Jan. 16, 9 a.m. to noon, Catholic Charities at 222 S. Houston Ave

Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tulsa Mingo WIC at 9924 E. 21st

Monday, Jan. 27, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Creek Nation WIC (Okmulgee) Creek Capitol Complex at Highway 75 and Loop 56

Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Peoria WIC at 5812 S. Peoria

Friday, Jan. 31, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Emergency Infant Services at 222 S. Houston Ave.
