TULSA - A south Tulsa strip mall received extensive damage early Tuesday morning when it went up in flames.
Firefighters responded to the blaze near 61st and South Lewis shortly after 2 a.m.
Crews believe the fire began at Omega Laundries laundromat, then spread to the ceiling of the shopping center.
A total of 45 firefighters were called into battle the flames.
The fire was brought under control before 3:30 a.m.
Nearly all of the mall's tenants are affected with the possible exception of a sports bar on the east end of the center.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire.
Parts of the same strip mall have already been rebuilt after a small tornado damaged the roof in 2010.
