Felony warrant issued for Haskell County stabbing

HASKELL COUNTY, Okla. - A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Keota woman connected to a stabbing in Haskell County.

According to OSBI, an affidavit filed in Haskell County states Brandy Kay Hoover stabbed 32-year-old Tara Parks several times with a knife Oct. 4. The altercation began when Parks traveled with her boyfriend Kendall McCormick, 36, to retrieve some of his personal items from Hoover, his ex-girlfriend, officials said.  

The affidavit says Hoover stabbed Parks numerous times.  Parks was hospitalized for several days.

Hoover is being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and maiming. Her bond is set at $350,000.
