Expect longer lines at the airport and more cars traveling than last year for Thanksgiving.

AAA estimates more than 50 million Americans will be traveling to their destinations, up from 48 million last year. The majority of people will be driving.

Drivers will be paying the highest gas prices since 2014 during the holiday. The state average is $2.30/gallon for unleaded compared to $1.88/gallon last year.

Airports are also gearing up for the rush. Officials at Tulsa International Airport remind you to arrive early to check in, have your government ID or passport ready and give yourself extra time if you park at the airport.
