TULSA - An early morning fire at a vacant Tulsa house is being called arson.
Flames broke out at the home near Apache and North Boston Avenue around 6 a.m.
The house, which was newly remodeled and scheduled to be a rented, sustained a substantial amount of smoke damage.
"I would consider this a total loss on the structure just from the amount of smoke damage and the amount of fire damage in that one bedroom," said Jerry Brown, with the Tulsa Fire Department.
Investigators believe the fire began in a back room, immediately calling it suspicious.
Damage to the home is estimated around $10,000.
