A Tulsa dog with cancer is scratching items off his bucket list.

The six-year-old pit bull, “Boudreaux,” was diagnosed with stage two mast cell carcinoma and wasn't given much time.

Courtney Dye, Boudreaux’s owner, said, “That’s just an average from the dogs that have the same diagnosis as he does. Sadly, they can't tell me how long because of this. Since we don't know, we just decided to do the bucket list."

The dog has already scratched off a few items, like being a fire dog for a day.

Dye said, “He wants to have spaghetti for supper, breakfast in bed. One of the things on his bucket list was to give out free kisses. We did that at Petco on Saturday. We stood out there, and he just gave everyone kisses and they ate it up."

But one of the top item's on the old bachelor's bucket list finding a date. And he has dozens of offers.

Dye explained, “We decided to do a blind date for Boudreaux, and I didn't really know it was going to get as much interest as it did. There were so many people interested in having a steak dinner with Boudreaux."

Because of the overwhelming response, Dye decided to have a play date at the park.

She said, “Whichever one we feel like he connects with the most, they're going to get to go on a blind date at the river walk and eat a steak dinner."

But once all the item's on Boudreaux's list are checked off, his mom knows he doesn't have much time left.

She admitted, “I’m sad that it took coming to this for me to come up with a bucket list, but everyone come up with a bucket list for your dog. Do it before it's not too late."

That's why it's important to make every moment count.

Dye said, “I don't want him to die one day without living life to the fullest."
