COWETA, Okla. - Wagoner County authorities are investigating a unique burglary that could cost a Coweta business more than a quarter of a million dollars.
Several industrial air compressor parts used in concrete manufacturing were taken over the holiday weekend, said Maj. Gary Handley, with the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.
The parts -- each weighing at least one ton -- must've been removed with a forklift, Handley said.
The total value of the loss is around $350,000.
Authorities believe the thieves could scrap the metal and may be traveling with the parts on a flat bed trailer.
