Community holds vigil for Skiatook murder victims

SKIATOOK, Okla. - Community members paid tribute to two victims of a double murder in Skiatook.

Police discovered the bludgeoned bodies of Esther Driskell and her great granddaughter, Larissa Fraley, earlier this week.

On Thursday evening a few dozen people gathered at Riveted Church for a prayer service and balloon release in honor of the victims.

The organizers said they attended school with Larissa.

They say her death has been hard on many of their classmates.

"It's been just really depressing. I know a lot of her friends are very distraught and it's sad to see people we know in so much pain," said Onneka Holland, one of the organizers.

Police arrested Driskell's great grandson and Fraley's older brother, Devin Stanley, for the murders.

He remains in the Osage County jail.
