COLLINSVILLE, Okla. - When three Collinsville men claimed the $1 million Powerball Wednesday, they were far from fame, instead just happy to sit with each other at their daily coffee spot.
That has since changed. At least the fame part.
2NEWS sat down with the men in their diner of choice to see how they're handling their newfound celebrity.
"We've had calls from all over America," said 71-year-old Lester Hunt Jr., who -- along with Johnny Hall, 71, and William Webb, 81 -- will pocket around $236,000 after taxes.
But they're not complaining about the recent popularity.
"We've enjoyed it," Hall said. "Ever since then, it's been a hoot."
And they haven't encountered any sour grapes either.
"Everybody loves it," Hunt said. "Especially everyone in Collinsville because they're just glad somebody in Collinsville got it!"
