TULSA - Friday was the final day for former patients of oral surgeon Dr. Scott Harrington to visit a free screening clinic.
Nearly 4,000 people were screened for hepatitis and HIV over the last three months.
Seventy-seven people tested positive for Hepatitis C, five for hepatitis B and four for HIV.
Health officials say that rate reflects what they would find in the general population.
"According to the Centers for Disease Control, this is the first exposure in this type of occupational setting of its kind in the country," said Bruce Dart.
Patients who were sent a letter can still receive a free screening.
