City of Tulsa IT director placed on leave following city website dilemma

TULSA - Just hours after the city of Tulsa said personal information was not accessed during a hacking scare involving the city's website, the city's information technology director has been placed on administrative leave.

According to a release from the city, Chief Information Officer Tom Golliver has been placed on administrative leave with pay.

Mayor Dewey Bartlett said the decision was made relating to a "personnel issue and no further comment will be available."

Tulsa Police Department Cpt. Jonathan Brooks has been named interim director of the IT department.

Bartlett said Brooks will assist with the demands of the IT department until the personnel issue is resolved.
