Cherokee Nation investigators find nearly $180,000 in marijuana plants in Delaware County

KENWOOD, Okla. - Cherokee Nation investigators are searching for suspects in a marijuana grow operation totaling nearly $180,000. 

Marshals with the Cherokee Nation recovered 120 plants with an estimated street value of $1,500 per plant last week. The plants were sent to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in Tahlequah.

No arrests were made following the discovery.
