Thieves steal truck, motorcycle racing equipment, leave trailer burned, abandoned near Keystone Lake

CATOOSA, Okla. -- A Green Country racing team has located its stolen trailer. However, it had been burned and abandoned at Keystone Lake.

This weekend, thieves stole nearly $100,000 worth of equipment from Black Thunder Racing founder David Chaney.

When the trailer was located Monday, Chaney says it was a total loss.

Chaney had two motorcycles, a three-wheeler and thousands of dollars in equipment used by the Catoosa racing team.

“I am still looking for everything else,” he told 2NEWS

Catoosa police continue to investigate who may have stolen and set the trailer on fire.
