BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Many veterans gathered at the Armed Services Center Thursday for the veterans job fair.
Pre-registration is over but organizers said they want all veterans in need of work to come regardless of whether they're registered.
"They're not only offering up employment because they have jobs, they're here to do their part to do their part for service members who've served our state and our country," said Col. Warren Griffis, Oklahoma National Guard.
This is the first time the event has been held in Tulsa, but's already been very successful in Oklahoma City and Lawton.
The companies and positions available cover a wide range from entry level to management positions. There was something for just about everyone.
The armed services center is at East 101st Street and South 258th Avenue in Broken Arrow.
Veterans were asked to bring a current resume, discharge papers and reminded to dress for success.
