"It started out of our pastor," said David Wildman with Rockets over Rhema. "Pastor (Kenneth) Hagin, is very patriotic. He always says, ‘He bleeds red, white and blue.' And so for him, that's something very close to his heart to organize a festival in honor of Independence Day and give back to the City of Broken Arrow that we've been a part of."
This is the 10th anniversary of the annual event.
The festivities will cause a road closure at 71st Street, which will be closed between Elm and Aspen beginning at 8 p.m.
