Bristow man arrested in Tulsa, accused of fit of sexual, physical assaults

TULSA - A Bristow man was taken into Tulsa police custody Wednesday after a burst of alleged violence, including the alleged assaults of two women.

Police were called to a Rest Inn motel near East Admiral Place and North Memorial Drive around 9 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a man forcing his way into a room and sexually abusing a woman.

While on their way, officers received another call from the motel accusing the same suspect of forcing his way into another room and physically assaulting another woman.

The suspect, later identified as Dale Ray Richburg, then ran to a nearby fast food chain, where he began kicking a random vehicle, according to police. The driver of the vehicle ran outside after noticing the man's alleged antics, and was then assaulted by Richburg, police say.

Richburg, 51, resisted arrest but was detained and booked into the Tulsa County Jail just after 2 p.m. He's being held on a host of complaints, including first-degree burglary and forcible sodomy.

Richburg is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 13.
