A Skiatook 19-year-old accused of killing his great-grandmother and sister won't be getting out of jail any time soon after an Osage County district judge denied his bond Friday.
Michael "Devin" Stanley is charged with first-degree murder and is awaiting another. Detectives say Stanley stabbed his 16-year-old sister Larisa Fraley multiple times. Officers found her body Wednesday on the passenger floor board of a van near Skiatook Lake.
Detectives said Friday two people saw Stanley in the field where the vehicle was abandoned around 6:15 Monday night and gave him a ride.
Police found the body of 74-year-old Esther Driskell, Stanley's great-grandmother, inside her home only 30 minutes earlier. Driskell also sustained multiple stab wounds.
Friday's arraignment was conducted through video conference. Stanley answered the judge's questions quietly, often pausing before responding.
Because both bodies were found in different counties and investigators haven't yet pinpointed where Fraley and Driskell were killed, the jurisdiction for this case is still up in the air.
