TULSA - Police say they arrested a Bixby couple after an investigation into electricity theft led them to a meth lab.
Investigators followed an extension chord running from a victim's home to a nearby house, but they found a metal water trough containing burnt trash, cut-open batteries, bottles resembling Drano cans and and empty pseudo ephedrine blister pack, according to police records.
Police say the homeowner, 34-year-old Crystal Wilborn, arrived at the scene and consented to a search of the residence.
Officers say they found several items of paraphernalia in the master bedroom and evidence of a methamphetamine lab, as well as a white powdery substance, in the master bathroom.
Two children who lived in the residence were turned over to DHS.
Police arrested Crystal Wilborn and William Wilborn, 38, for two counts of child endangerment, endeavoring to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, petty larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.
