BA is offering a warrant amnesty program for one week; participants put on payment plan

BROKEN ARROW - The City of Broken Arrow is giving people with active warrants an opportunity to participate in an amnesty program.

Broken Arrow Cpl. Leon Calhoun sent a press release saying the program will last from March 10th to March 14th.

Anyone interested needs to contact the Broken Arrow Court Clerk's office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to the release.

The Court Clerk’s office is at 2304 S.1st Place in Broken Arrow, and they can be reached by phone at 918-451-8558 for more information.

For a warrant or warrants to be recalled, you will need to pay 10 percent of the total bond amount, and then be placed on a payment plan for the remaining amount, according to the release.

The release says payments will only be accepted in person. Those participating in the program will not be arrested as long as they are making scheduled payments as required.
