Applebee's employees robbed in restaurant parking lot near 41st and Garnett

TULSA - Tulsa police are seeking information about an armed robbery suspect after a man approached a group of Applebee's employees in the restaurant parking lot and demanded money.

Police say the group just finished closing the restaurant near 41st and Garnett around 12:30 a.m. Monday when the suspect, described as a black male in his 20s, approached them with a handgun and demanded money.

The victims told police he took an undetermined amount of money from each of the victims as well as a cellphone.

Witnesses told police the man was about 5 feet 10 inches tall wearing dark clothing and a black and white bandana over his mouth.

He was last seen running through the Wyndham Hotel parking lot.

Officers are still searching for the suspect.

No one was injured during the robbery.
