TULSA - Tulsa's Mayfest celebration kicked off Thursday in downtown Tulsa.
Approximately 120 artists from 28 states will showcase their wares at the 41st annual festival.
Vendors set up most of Wednesday and Thursday morning. The free festival officially began at 11 a.m.
In addition to art, attendees will find live music each night and food trucks, including Kona Ice and Andolini's.
Though Mayfest is plagued by traditionally poor weather, most of the vendors are optimistic. But just in case, the booths have been secured and vendors say the weather is just a part of the celebration.
