TULSA – As budget issues are highlighted around the state, one survey named several Green Country high schools as some of the state’s best high schools.

Thanks to USNews.com, a silver lining can be seen through the ongoing budget battle with education. Four high schools: Jenks High School, Will Rogers College High School, Bartlesville High School and Owasso High School were among the “Best High Schools in Oklahoma” list.

The schools were ranked based on aspects such as enrollment, number of full-time teachers and test scores.

Jenks was ranked number four in the entire state and 1,401 in the nation.
