18-year-old man brain dead after shooting at Apache Manor; suspect still on the loose

TULSA - A teenager is brain dead after a shooting at Apache Manor Thursday night.

Just before 7:30 p.m., police say two men were fighting in the parking lot of the complex located near Apache and North Marion Avenue when one of the men pulled a gun.

Detectives believe the shooter then ran south down North Louisville Avenue.

The 18-year-old victim, Keondrea Love, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where police say he is brain dead.

The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.  Doctors have not declared the victim dead but they do not believe the wound is survivable.

Investigators believe the victim and suspect knew each other as they were seen walking into the complex together.  Police only have a vague description of the suspect -- a male under the age of 25.
