16th century comes alive at Renaissance festival

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Castle of Muskogee hosts the 19th Annual Oklahoma Renaissance Festival.

Castleton Village provides a taste of 16th-century England with 15 stages and 134 merchant shops.

The festival features over 600 costumed performers and artisans exhibiting Renaissance music, magic, comedy, juggling, jousting, tomfoolery, arts, food, drink, and more.

The festival runs every weekend from May 3 to June 1 and Memorial day from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
