VINITA, Okla. - A 16-month-old is currently recovering from his fifth brain surgery on Tuesday morning.

According to Payton Stanley's father, the young boy is "successfully out of surgery and in the Neurological ICU."

Last July, Payton underwent his fourth brain surgery at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.

He started having seizures at three months and had his first surgery shortly after.

Little Payton was hospitalized for several months at a time, and he was eventually released, but has had several complications since then.

His parents, Robert and Stephanie Stanley, say it has been a difficult road taking care of their boy, driving to Memphis almost every weekend and paying for medical expenses.

Payton's parents set up a GoFundMe account where you can donate money to help with medical expenses.
