OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma City officials say an explosion occurred in a tunnel downtown where utility work was taking place.
Authorities say the Friday blast was in an area where Oklahoma Gas & Electric employees were doing work. A fire followed the explosion but was extinguished.
It was unclear whether anyone had been injured, though emergency responders requested first aid.
The blast happened at the 100 block of West Park Avenue.
Officials didn't immediately indicate what caused the explosion.
