BOSTON -- The Boston Athletic Association says it will add 9,000 spots to next year's Boston Marathon.
At this year's race in April, terrorist bombings prevented 5,000 runners from finishing finish the race.
Explosions rock Boston Marathon finish line at Fairmount Copley Plaza hotel, injuries reported
The Boston Athletic Association will also plant yellow daffodils along the race route as a sign of rebirth.
The double bombings near the finish line killed 3 people and injured at least 264 others.
